Brentwood is a quiet and upscale neighborhood just east of Santa Monica. Tree-lined streets with well-tended homes in various architectural styles stretch up into the hills. The main artery, San Vicente Boulevard, features a range of popular eateries and cafes, plus the historic Brentwood County Mart, a retail hub beloved by residents (and home to Reddi Chick – IYKYK). The Getty Center Museum in the area boasts a world-class art collection and expansive city views.

Public schools in Brentwood include Kenter Canyon Elementary, Brentwood Science Magnet Elementary, and Paul Revere Charter Middle. High school students are zoned to University Charter and Palisades Charter. Private schools in the area include Westland Elementary, Mirman, Berkeley Hall Elementary, Saint Martin of Tours Elementary, and Archer School for Girls.
