Bel-Air
Bel-Air is a glamorous residential enclave in the verdant foothills of the Santa Monica Mountains. Two stately entrance gates off Sunset Boulevard lead to winding streets lined with lavish mansions on large properties with lush vegetation. Popular with celebrities and the entertainment industry elite, the neighborhood is home to the landmark Hotel Bel-Air, a long-time luxury hideaway, as well as the Hannah Carter Japanese Garden. Locals know and love the breakfast burritos at Shack in the Back.
Two public schools are nearby: Roscomare Road Elementary and Community Magnet Charter Elementary. Warner Avenue Elementary is also zoned into Bel-Air, and Emerson Middle and University Charter High are within attendance distance. Five private schools are also within reach: Marymount High, Steven S Weiss Temple Elementary, Milken Community, John Thomas Dye, Mirman, and Westland.
